古都・京都の大晦日の新しい風物詩となった『世界WORLDカウントダウンイベント』
動員数は毎年1000名を越え、とうとう昨年の動員は1500名オーバーで関西で最大規模のひとつとなった。
今年も昨年に劣らずな壮大なスケールで臨みます。なんと、イマージアム8FスペースもWORLDがジャックし、既存のBFと最上階の8Fと2店舗規模で開催し、2コンセプトパーティで展開する“一夜で二度オイシイ夜”です。 今年のメインテーマは『2010年宇宙の旅』。この地、世界WORLDから飛び出し、まだ見ぬ宇宙（未体験）の旅へと誘います。 WORLD FLIGHTの道先案内人パイロットはサイバージャパン総帥・MITOMI TOKOTOキャプテンに加え、ワールドレジデントDJ、精鋭6名のクルーが皆様を幻想的な音の旅を遊覧するスペシャルカウントダウンパーティ！！
最上階の8Fはレギュラーパーティ『ESSENTIAL×SAYANSE』がコラボしたブラックミュージックエリア。 今年のカウントダウンは一夜を通じてヒップホップあり、レゲエあり、ハウスあり、ロックあり、、のジャンルレスに展開するカウントダウン。当然、恒例のカウントダウンの瞬間はキラキラ眩い演出が・・☆ カウントダウン後は八坂神社で初詣に繰り出し、おみくじ引いて、縁日でほっこりして、またワールドに戻り初日の出まで“ロック”する、、、京都ならではのエンタメスパイラルを新年早々過ごしては如何ですか！？ それでは、皆様2010年、最高の思い出で幕をあけましょう！ A HAPPY NEW YEAR,2010！ WORLD PEACE LOVE！！
The old capitol: Kyoto. Ushering in new seasonal traditions, WORLD’s COUNDOWN PARTY has consistently brought in over 1000 each year. Last year, the number of people in attendance reached over an astonishing 1500, making it one of the largest parties in all of Kansai!
This year, with the scale and line-up, you should expect an event the same scale last year! Believe it or not, Club WORLD has jacked the 8th floor, with these 2 spots (the basement and the top floor), bring you the concept of flying into the new year. One night with double the pleasure… we’ll call it the 2010 SPACE FLIGHT! Then from here, these parts you know, we will take you on a flight of adventure, out into the unknown reaches of space! The pilots on this flight from Japan is (One of WORLD’s resident DJS) MITOMI TOKOTO, along with 6 “Flight Attendants” are ready to take you on a FANTASTIC journey through sound for this year’s countdown!
On the 8th floor, get ready for the Sick collaboration between 2 regular events, ESSENTIAL x SAYANSE! This year’s count down is going all-out, with different genres pumpin’ all night long, account down featuring Hip Hop, Reggae, House, and Rock etc… And of course, like coundowns of the past, there will be a “glittering” spectacle for the countdown. Afterwards, we can make a mass exodus to Yasaka temple for the first of the year temple. There, we can pick fortunes and moll around the stalls. This will be a great way to rock out until your next visit to WORLD! Don’t you want to get in on Kyoto’s hottest spiral of entertainment for the new year?
