テイ・トウワによるヒップなパーティー
グラス片手に“その場”を楽しんで！ 　
テイ・トウワの所属していたディー・ライトの、世界的ヒットを飛ばしたナンバー「グルーヴ・イズ・イン・ザ・ハート」を久しぶりに聴き返した。輝きは褪せていないどころか今のフロアにも余裕で有効で、何よりもパーティーが恋しくなった。ひらひら揺れるワンピース、胸元のアクセはきらきら踊って、グラスを持つ指先に色気を感じる、良質な音楽に身体を委ねる。テイ・トウワのレギュラー・ナイト“MOTIVATION”は、パーティーの持つ魅力的なワンシーンや昂揚感で満ちているのだ。今回はゲストDJに、ドラムンベースやアシッド、エレクトロからブラジル、アフリカ、スウィング・ジャズetc.まで取り込み、耳の肥えた音楽ファンも唸らせる音を作り出す、「彼のトラックあってこそのリップスライム」と言い切れるほどの男、DJ FUMIYA（クラブ・プレイも大好評！）が参戦。さらに地元京都からは、木村カエラ feat. ILMARI「ミラクル☆BANZAI」のトラックメイクも素敵だったHALFBYも。そんな“わかっている”人たちをコンダクダーにした、ポップでグラマラスなパーティーで、今夜は遊んでかない？　（中谷琢弥／ライター）

I listened to the world-wide mega hit he had when he was with Deee-Lite, “Groove Is In the Heart”, again for the first time in a while. Not only has it not faded or lost it’s color, but it can still get a dance floor moving… it made me miss those kinds of parties. Dancing around, with a shiny necklace moving back and forth across my chest… holding a glass with my finger pointed to the sky…. just loosing myself to incredible music. TOWA TEI’s regular party, MOTIVATION, has allure, and that uplifting, “one-scene” type of nostalgic feel. This time, the guest DJ is none other than that man, DJ FUMIYA, who makes the most discerning fans of good music moan with his eclectic mix of Drum ‘N Bass and Acid Jazz, to African rhythms, Brazilian Electro, and Swinging Jazzy beats. (He has a killer club reputation!) And representing his hometown of Kyoto, we have HALBY, the man behind the song “Miracle Banzai”, the KIMURA KAELA track featuring ILMARI. So for all of you in the “know”, come on out to this glamorously pop party!
