今年活動10周年を迎えるスギウラム！

そのピーク感はワールド随一。そこが京都である、ということを忘れてしまうほどの時間が、ある。クラバーの楽園・イビザの享楽を連想させるような光景。今年はSUGIURUMN名義での活動10周年ということでリリースも立て続けにあるようで、まずは<MIDI>在籍時に発表した音源＋新曲5曲を加えた『Midi
In Midi Out』（2/24発売）、そしてベスト・アルバム『Do You Remember That Night
?』（3/10発売）には、現在DJでヘヴィープレイ中の新曲「THAT NIGHT feat. Tomomi
Ukumori」も収録。でもって今回の“HOUSE BEAT”は、ゲストライブに曽我部恵一！
というのだ。どう転んでも「？」な並びに感じるかもしれないけれど、実はSUGIURUMNが90年代に活動していたバンドElectric
Glass Balloonからの付き合いだったりする（Electric〜のドラマー丸山晴茂は同バンド脱退後、サニーデイ・サービスのメンバーに、という密な繋がり）。今はフィールドを異にする二人だけど、根底に流れる思いは同じ、そう、音楽の持つ力・可能性を確信しているということ。だからこの夜も、そんなポジティヴでハイなエネルギーに満ち溢れるのだ。 （中谷琢弥／ライター）
DJ SUGIURUMN is celebrating his 10th year anniversary!
With SOGABE HIROSHI also in attendance, it promises to be a SUPER HOT night!
That feeling he brings you of being at the top of everything translates the world over! You will forget that you are in Kyoto, because it feels like you’re partying at the clubbers paradise, in IBIZA!
For the 10th year anniversary under the moniker SUGIURUMN, he is releasing tracks from when he belonged to
, along with 5 original tracks on this, his new album entitled “” (2/24). On March 10th, his best of album “Do you remember that night” which has the popular track “That Night” featuring TOMOMI UKUMORI, will also go on sale. And as for his next party, SOGABE KEIICHI will be the guest DJ!!!
However you look at it, this might seem like a strange pairing right? But actually, they have close for more than 10 years, since the 90’s when they were part of the band ELECTRIC GLASS BALOON. (Note: After the drummer Maruyama Harushige left the band, Mr. SOGABE went on to become a member of the band SUNNY DAY SERVICE.) Though these two are currently working in separate fields, the very core of their thinking about the potential and power of music remains the same. So on this night, come out and enjoy the positive vibe of their overflowing energy.
